I
would pre-populate the cursor. This is
something I have never knew as an option.
This makes it easier for the customer to flow towards parting with their
money. “If it does, a great way to reduce friction, and increase conversion
rate, is to pre-populate the cursor into the first field.” https://moz.com/blog/6-essential-ppc-landing-page-optimizations
As
for my page I will be adding to eye contact or eye direction to my landing page.
“landing pages are no different from highway accidents: you look where other
people are looking. So, if you have a landing page creative with people in
them, why not take a page out of what PayPal does with their landing pages and
have your subjects look in the directions of your call to action?” https://moz.com/blog/6-essential-ppc-landing-page-optimizations
This will help focus people on where to look to pay money.
- List the 5
best things you can do to help your site be optimized for search engines.
- Better
UI/UX
- Because
right now it is not clean. You
can tell an amateur set this up.
- Refine
keyword targeting.
- Right now,
there is a lot of traffic for people wanting to buy cookie cutters, not
wanting to learn ho to make their own cookie cutters.
- Fix this up
to flow to social media.
- There is
no social media effort at all.
So, I am missing out on this aspect
- Multi
device.
- Though my
site might be readable on a phone.
My product is meant for desktop users. I need to figure out how to sell a
product to device users.
- Improve
crawler bot accessibility.
- Right now
there is no activity. So it is not
optimized at all.
- For 3 of
your web pages, list at least 1 keyword you want to optimize for each
page.
- Explain why
you chose each of those words.
- Use the backlink
checker from Ahrefs.com (Links to an external site.) to
determine the number of inbound links for your site.
- What would
you change on the landing page that you believe would increase conversion
and why?
- I would add
some shoe ads running on the left and right side of the page. They
could be the most popular selling shoe for both men and women. they
could also add what deals are running on the sides of the webpage.
there is a lot of empty space they could be filling up. I know they
want to direct traffic to pick what type of shoe they are looking for,
but that is a step between the customer and a button that actually takes
money.
- Is the page
featuring what was promised in the ad?
- No.
The URL destination does not feature any "best shoes" nor a
place to actually shop. Its just a good looking menu.
